Extreme Mold in Atlantic Highlands, NJ

A roof leak which occurred over a long period of time caused severe mold to form on the drywall ceilings on the second floor. The homeowner’s insurance adjuster told the customer to call SERVPRO of Middletown to remediate the affected areas. Our professional crew went right to work to demolish the moldy sheetrock and clean the wood beams. After placing drying equipment and an air scrubber to remove the moisture out of the air, containment was placed to prevent cross- contamination of unaffected areas. Once dry, the most important step of antimicrobial encapsulation to prevent future growth was painted on the formerly affected areas. Once the remediation was complete, the newly cleaned areas were unmistakable from their formerly infected state. The homeowners were thrilled with the outcome!
